Gastronomic dinner and wine evening with Guy Cliffe & the wines of Meerlust – 21st April 2009

Chester’s premier restaurant and bar venue The Barn will be hosting a gastronomic three course dinner with fine wines from the wines of Meerlust and wine expert Guy Cliffe.
This evening of fine food and fine wine will take place on Tuesday the 21st April, from 7pm onwards and tickets cost £50 each. The gastronomic evening will include a sumptuous dinner from The Barn with Meerlust wines chosen to complement each dish.
Long recognized for producing world-class wines, Meerlust Estate has been the pride of the Myburgh family since 1756. Today, the traditional dedication to the art of winemaking continues under the guidance of Hannes Myburgh, 8th generation of the seventeenth century national monument.

The Barn, situated in Bridge Trafford, is a spectacular 400 year old converted dairy farm set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. The impressive renovation has resulted in a striking interior filled with character with a range of charming features including the large, chic open plan restaurant, striking bar area and some impressive 6ft chandeliers hanging from the original beams.
